- Have a clear idea of what you want, not the money amount, but the lifestyle or benefit you’ll have by manifesting the money you want right now. When starting out your manifesting project, live a day of the life you’ll be living, in your mind as if it’s happening today.
Start the moment you wake up: who’s with you, what does your room look like, what is your shower like, what do you do as you go through your day
- Write affirmations to reprogram your subconscious mind. Include a feeling of gratitude by starting them with “I am so happy and grateful now that …” and continue with positive statements in the present tense such as “…I wake up under such a luxurious bedlinen in my huge comfortable bed. It gives me such a good night’s sleep” or “…I start my day with a breakfast of superfoods and a session with my personal trainer. My health has never been better” or whatever you want to have the money for. Remember to include the reason you want each part of this life you’re imagining.
- Repeat your affirmations for manifesting abundance when you wake up and just before you go to sleep and as many times during the day as you can fit in.
- Think about your dream lifestyle often, as often as you might think about a new date that you just met and want to see again. Enjoy it as a daydream that lifts your mood rather than as an exercise you need to do in order to be manifesting more money.
- If you feel unhappy or doubtful or feel any stress in any part of your body while saying your affirmations, you probably have blocks to manifesting what you desire on that particular statement. These blocks are caused by limiting beliefs in your subconscious. You can clear your blocks using effective tools such as EFT. I recommend Money Beyond Belief, a program by Dr Joe Vitale and Brad Yates, available here
- If you need help imagining this lifestyle, try creating a vision board using paper and glue and cutting and sticking pictures onto a piece of card or canvas that represents the aspects of this lifestyle you are manifesting. While I enjoy using this kind of vision board, I also love using a video version on my iPod where I can add movement and inspiring, fast paced music as a soundtrack as I find it lifts my energy while focusing on the dreams I am manifesting. I personally use the Mind Movies Creation Kit because it’s easy to use, has very easy clear video instructions and super free software and resources to make creating your mind movie a pleasure.
